Re: Ptas from original population data

Hi Kathryn, I think you are trying to ask R to pass a data frame of class PMpop to the function makePTA which was expecting a parsed simdata file of class PMsim. I tried: pta.1 <- makePTA(pop.1,targets=c(0.0625,0.125,0.25,0.5,1,2),target.type="peak",success=8,start=0,end=24) I also tried from a file...

Simulate weight-based doses using covariate simulation

Asked and answered. To simulate the following four weight-based doses (e.g., 10, 15, 20, and 25 mg/kg) from a template data.csv file using a covariate simulation approach wherein the MCS engine selects covariate values from a unimodal distribution using the final model population parameters and cova...

Re: makeNPDE and VPC plotting error

I've been able to get NPDE to work well after I updated to the most recent version of Pmetrics and stopped using tdm gfortran. As Michael notes above, truncating the simulated distribution by setting limits may be one solution. makeNPDE(XX, limits=c(0,3), nsim=1000) where XX is the run of interest a...

Re: make NPDE error

This appears to be an error caused by the simulator generating unrealistic values for the NPDE. You could try limiting the simulated parameter ranges as discussed in a previous thread http://www.lapkb.org/board/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=126&p=392&hilit=npde#p384 . An example would be: makeNPDE(XX, limits=...

Re: Error with npscript.bat

Hi all, I have encountered the problem as well after upgrading to a 64bit Windows 8 PC. I've found that Michael's solution parallel = F works with older versions of gfortran, however it seems like the newer versions of gfortran have issues, as well. For a quick work around, you can copy all of the f...

Re: makeNPDE and VPC plotting error

So, I tried setting the limits to the model file, but the NPDE seems to sill have some trouble parsing the sims. I wonder if this is because some of the predictions from the pop model are negative? Not that I can think of, though subj 2 and 3 seem to be outliers in some regards. I wonder if the limi...

Re: makeNPDE and VPC plotting error

Not that I can think of, though subj 2 and 3 seem to be outliers in some regards. I wonder if the limits on the pop model are an issue. Do you think I should go back and reset the limits to the exact limits of the model file?

Appreciate the insight!

Thanks!

makeNPDE and VPC plotting error

Hi all, I am trying to make an NPDE object using the following command based on the manual: makeNPDE(34, limits=c(0,3), nsim=1000) vpc <- plot(sim.34, log=TRUE) When I use the fitted pop model to make an NPDE, I get the following at the end of the simulation syntax: Automatic detection of variables ...

Re: Error in simulator

I have uninstalled/reinstalled, updated my version of R, ran PMbuild() but I am getting the same error with each attempted run.

Though, on one attempt, it simulated 1 subject and had errors for all the others. A mystery!

Re: Error in simulator

There were some windows updates recently. Should I reinstall?
