simulation with covariates

Hello I have a doubt about the simulations about the covariates. First situation: if my final model does not include any covariate, does it make any sense to do a simulations including different values of covariates? Second situation: in my model I have only included body weight and serum creatinine...

Differences in the VPC plots

Hello I have done some VPC plots with my final model with Pmetrics but I realised that there is different ways to do them. However, I don't know what are the differences between these 3 options because the 3 graphs look very different: 1- When you do the VPC after a NPDE: npde1<-makeNPDE(8, limits=c...

CI 95% of the PTA simulations

Hello

I would like to calculate the CI 95% of the PTA after a simulations.
Is it possible to do it with Pmetrics?

Thanks

Re: NPDE installation

Dear all, Thank you very much for the information. I finally was able to install the NPDE and to do an analysis. However, I got the same error message: IEEE_INVALID_FLAG IEEE_OVERFLOW_FLAG IEEE_UNDERFLOW_FLAG Could anyone tell me what does it mean? I also got these 2 file outputs: output.npde and ou...

Re: Comparing models

Hello!! Thank you very much! My doubts are: - PMcompare can only be used for the comparison of models that have the same number of pk parameters? - In some PMcompare results, I can see that the -2LL and AIC are lower in one model but the postbias and the postimp are worse. Which is the variable that...

general doubts

Hi Michael, I have some general doubts about Pmetrics and the modelling process: - Is it normal that after a run in the graph of the lamda/gamma error appears a straight line? - Can we estimate parameters such as tlag or Ka when we only have samples obtained at 1h or 2h after the oral drug administr...

Comparing models

Dear Michael,

I have a doubt when I try to compare different models.
Can I use the PMcompare when the different models have different pk parameters, for example, when I try to compare a 1 and a 2 -compartment model?

Thank you very much

Re: Hessian error

Dear Michael,
Thanks a lot,

then... after removing some patients, the ID does not correspond with the number that Pmetrics is referring?
Sonia

I have also another questions, when Pmetrics is doing NPDE or Simulations, is it using a boostrap method with replacement?

Re: Hessian error

It is strange... because the patient 304 had been already excluded from the previous run.. before Pmetrics gave me this message.

Re: Hessian error

Dear Michael,

yes. I have been trying to exclude all those patients but in the last run Pmetrics is telling me
that the patients that is causing the error in number 304 and this patient is not included in the final run.ç
So, I do not know what else can I do.

Thanks
Sonia
